SKITS |
|
There is great pleasure in writing for performance. Its like crafting lifeless words into a living image as a sculpture would carve a block of stone. Then hearing an audience react, even when you had not expected it is always gratifying. These are a few of the skits I have written and produced that are not too dependent on local issues, people or 'in' jokes. |

This is an adult potted panto for five people, no scenery and simple props. It runs about 10 minutes. It was performed at a Christmas Review by a group of people invited from the audience. If you pick your victims carefully you can add a great deal to the humour. |

Three skits based on the 60s radio show, Round the Horne. The combination of the Noel Coward style with the simple humour of the time gives a rather special result. |

A tribute to the work of Barry Took and Marty Feldman. The 'I know you know' routine was a key part of any Daphne and Charles skit. Here I have tried to take it to its ultimate conclusion. |
